Music has always been a big part of my life and I've been singing for as long as I can remember. On this page you can find information about my different music projects and listen to the songs I've recorded so far. Follow me on Soundcloud to be notified when I upload new music.
I'm the vocalist of Eurotix, a musical project also consisting of my dear friend Larry Forsberg. We both love eighties music so our sound is inspired by the synthpop and dance music of that era, but with a modern twist. Like our Facebook page to get the latest updates about our music.
I've also released music using the ironic alias Bimbo Boy. When I first started recording in 2002, I wanted a unique stage name. I was also tired of people calling female artists "bimbos" because of their sexy image. So I decided to call myself Bimbo Boy to get a discussion started. Besides, it's not usual for a guy to call himself a "bimbo" since it's usually associated with women, which makes it even more provocative.
I describe the music as "plastic pop" and the sound is inspired by eighties dance-pop, with gay themed lyrics. In 2005, the song "Drama Queen" was submitted to Melodifestivalen, the Swedish pre-selection to the Eurovision Song Contest. It didn't make it to the big show but "Drama Queen" was one of final one hundred songs considered. It was released as a single in 2006 and became a minor club hit.
My latest single, the italo disco track "Die From A Broken Heart", was released in 2012 on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify. Many of the older Bimbo Boy tracks are available as free downloads from Soundcloud.
